Robotic 3D Sewing for Clothing

IAuralis served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ARM project on Robotic 3D Sewing for Clothing, hosted in 2022 at Saitex's denim factory in LA. She provided expertise in overcoming the challenges of automating final garment assembly with 3D seams, critical for general-purpose apparel automation. The project's innovations, applicable to both commercial and Defense supply chains, addressed complexities in producing ACU trousers domestically, supporting the DoD's $2B annual procurement of sewn goods. Key partners included Saitex, Levi's, Sewbo, and Siemens.
